| Page layouts |
This part of the process is concerned with
the arrangement and relationships between the various media-typed objects selected to
populate our pages. |
| Editorial work |
Having collected the required content, it
becomes necessary to scan it and convert it to text, via Optical Character Recognition
(OCR). It then becomes possible to select specific textual information with a view towards
overall design. |
| Image scanning and
editing |
All photographic content will now be
scanned and photo-enhanced, as necessary, making sure to customize brightness and
saturation levels that are suitable for screen viewing. In addition, all content need be
converted to Internet-compatible formats. |
| Typography, color,
texture and icon selections |
Backgrounds need be chosen, typefaces
picked and color schemes selected. In addition, icons and a general motif has to be
designed which will help give the page a distinctive and cohesive feel. |
| Sound recording and
editing |
Whenever applicable, sound and music
content will need to be sampled and converted to Internet-compatible formats. |
| 3D renderings and
animation |
The growing popularity of interpreted
languages like Java and VRML are bringing a new host of possibilities to the Web. Our
