Before immersing himself in web development, Nick followed a number of scholastic endeavors at the University of Minnesota that included philosophy, history, and cultural studies. Upon coming to the shocking realization that quoting dead 17th century Europeans wasn't a viable job skill, he dove head-first into a career path that has taken him through a multiplicity of different industries; from animation and video post-production to web design and development. His interest in the web as a tool for communicating and seeding ideas eventually led him to focus his efforts into web marketing and search engine optimization.

Nick comes to First Scribe with over five years of experience in front-end web development, and a continuous desire to build upon his knowledge with new skills, insights, and experiences. Nick has studied and passed the certification to become a Qualified Google Advertising Professional.

When he's not at work, Nick fends off boredom by paying far too much attention to his turntable, record collection, and various other dusty antiquities not associated with the modern, digital age.
