Zach has always enjoyed technology since he was a child. When he was young he loved playing his Nintendo Entertainment System and surfing the web for hours on the weekend. As he grew older he discovered his ability to write and his passion for helping others succeed. The combination of being a self-proclaimed computer nerd and his writing skills led him to Minnesota State University, Mankato where he studied mass communications and graphic design. While studying at MNSU Zach was exposed to web design, social media and search engine optimization.

Once he graduated he looked for an area where he would be able to use his communication skills and knowledge of the web to help others. Eventually he was led to search engine marketing and First Scribe.

Zach has also worked and interned in a variety of fields including, customer service, communications, freelance graphic design and utilities maintenance. His experiences have helped him learn how to simplify and communicate effectively.

In his free time he enjoys expanding his music library, DJing, playing softball, slacklining, biking and being outdoors.
