Google Analytics
Google purchased Urchin Software in November, 2005. Very quickly Google re-packaged the Urchin analytics software and the Google Analytics product was born.
Google Analytics is a decent tool and the price is right -- Free.

Google Analytics doesn't provide the depth or quality of data that a full-featured analytics tool like Omniture will provide. However, it is great for measuring success of Google Adwords campaigns.
In addition to being free, Google Analytics includes:
- Integration with Google AdWords. Users of Google Adwords can access the web analytics directly. Google Analytics will automatically tag keywords and their destination URLs for fast ROI reports of Google Adwords campaigns.
- Google Analytics will track the results of banner ads, affiliate linking, email marketing and paid search from sources outside of Google.
- Configurable reporting dashboards. Google Analytics starts with an executive summary but you are able to quickly configure the dashboard in any form. You may also decide to create 2 more dashboards for additional audiences.
- Marketing Goal funnels. Advanced Google Analytics users are able to define marketing goals on your website and then create reports to visualize the effecitveness of your goals. Lead generations can be granted a value and measured for ROI.
- Ecommerce tracking. An expert implementation will track the complete ROI of any shopping cart on the market. You will be able to view revenue by order and individual product.
Google Analytics can be enabled in a snap. Contact us today for a quote of an advanced implementation.
