Web Design Methodology
Phase 2 - Design
The interface design development phase identifies the navigational system and layout concepts that will communicate effectively with the desired target market. Here, we will apply the information gathered in the definition phase. You will be presented with a plan of the web site's hierarchy, and professional layouts of the home page and subsequent subpage’s navigation and general structure.
For websites with Internet Marketing plans we will delve further into content architecture. Optimized website content begins by developing a site map, designating subject paths, editing text, and identifying areas for content development.
We ask that our clients provide us with text content in the form of Word documents. In the case of new websites where no prior material exists, we can help with copywriting for an additional fee.
Positioning of the logo, navigation, images, animation, and pull strategy begin to be developed and eventually become the website's "story board". We finish this phase by creating mockups of home page design and layout for your approval.
