Email Account Set Up
For Microsoft Outlook
Note: This set up guide is created for Microsoft Outlook 2003. Specific directions may change without notice and steps may be different for other versions of Outlook.
1. Open Microsoft Outlook
2. From the primary menu, select 'Tools' then 'Email Accounts'.
3. From the 'E-mail Accounts' pop-up window, select 'Add new email account' and select type 'POP3'.

4. When the 'Internet E-mail Settings (POP3)' window opens, you need to fill in the following fields:
- User Information:
- Your Name: The name to be displayed when you send email.
- Email Address: The email address for the account.
- Logon Information:
- User Name: Your full email address.
- Password: The password provided by your email
host.
- Server Information:
- Incoming Server (POP3): mail.firstscribe.com
- Outgoing Server (SMTP): mail.firstscribe.com
5. Click on the 'More Settings ...' button. From the new pop-up window, select the 'Outgoing Server' tab and click the check box for "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
6. Verify that the radio button is selected for "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
7. Click 'OK' and save your settings as you exit the set-up guide.
When you close the guide, click "Send/Receive" to download any new mail from the server.
