ROWay Permit Software
The First Scribe ROWay software is and extension of the software we developed for the city of Minneapolis, MN. Our original application was designed to help residents to avoid traffic congestion throughout Minneapolis.
The original application shows city lane closures over the top of an interactive Flash map.
The latest iteration of ROWay sofware goes beyond the realm of showing lane closures and into the area of enabling the permitting of the lane closure itself.
How often do you see a utility truck parked in the middle of the lane in front of you? Well, not only is it nice for you to know where, why and how long that lane will be closed - but that utility company needs to purchase the permit to close the lane.
Furthermore, the city needs an easy way to collect the permit application and funds to close the lane. Most importantly, the city needs to review and accept the application.
